FAQ Part 1: reserving your session |
|
Payments and refunds
Q: What payment methods do you accept? A: We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, as well as Paypal and Google Checkout. Q: Will my credit card number be stored in your site? A: No. Both payment gateways we employ are external from DTyler Photography and no credit card numbers are stored. Q: How much of a deposit is required? A: Standard portrait, boudoir and fashion sessions require full payment in advance to reserve your date. Wedding photography packages require a 50% deposit at the time of reservation. Final payment is required at least 30 days prior to your wedding date. Wedding photography sessions reserved less than 30 days in advance require payment in full at the time of reservation. Q: If I change my session date or cancel, will you refund my deposit? A: The purpose of a deposit is to reserve a date for your wedding or event. As such, all deposits are non refundable. Q: Will I receive a receipt after placing my reservation? A: Absolutely. After your session is reserved, you will receive two emails - the first confirms your date, time and event details and the second is a receipt for your payment to us. Please keep this in your records. When to book, how to book Q: Can we meet in person before reserving?A: Absolutely! This goes without saying - we love to meet new clients and would welcome a consultation in our lobby or a chat over a nice cup of coffee. Q: How far in advance should I reserve my session? A: As one of Las Vegas' top photography studios, our schedule fills incredibly fast, especially on weekends. Typically, clients reserve standard portrait sessions 1-2 weeks in advance. Wedding photography clients typically reserve between 6 and 18 months in advance. Q: If I have questions before my shoot, can I call or email you? A: We strongly encourage client communication and can be reached at any time via phone or email to answer questions or share ideas for your shoot. Q: Can I book a photographer from a different company to shoot alongside you or can I have one of my guests with an SLR camera shoot at the same time? A: All photography with DTyler Photography is exclusive. Additional flashes working in tandem with our cameras will overexpose and ruin the pictures. A guest flash shooting their flash in our direction will also blind our photographers, causing them to miss shots. In addition, it leads to a situation in which multiple photographers are all fighting for the same positions and angles, creating a distraction and safety hazard. |
