Family photography is one of my favorite genres and I’ve said before that it’s the most ‘humanizing’.  There’s a great feeling I get after a session like this – seeing love and bonding in action that makes me look forward to every shoot.  Plus, this little girl was ridiculously adorable – the first thing she did was hand me a basket adorned with the face of Elmo and no matter how many times I gave it back to her, she kept bringing it back to me.

Towards the end of the shoot, she grabbed a book about animals, placed it in my hands and then sat on my lap and asked me to read.  Having no children of our own, I just about died – I now want like 16 children!  If you’re friends with me on Facebook, you’ve probably seen the photo that Sarah took of me behind the scenes (one of the only photos that exist of the mysterious and elusive Deacon Tyler!)

Booking a family portrait photography session is probably one of the best investments you can make for your family – having professional shots is something that rewards itself over and over and we absolutely love taking them.  Make sure to have a look at our portrait photography gallery and book your session today!
